Nikwe: Two-Bedroom Retreat on the Edge of the Rift Valley

Perched on the escarpment with the East African Rift Valley spread out below, Nikwe is a two-bedroom retreat built around one thing: the view. A private 82 m² deck runs the full width of the house, giving you room to dine, lounge and watch the light change across the valley floor from sunrise to dusk.

The space

Two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, its own private bathroom and a dedicated work station. The open-plan living area has a lounge whose sofas convert into extra beds, so Nikwe comfortably hosts families, friends travelling together, or a small group needing space to spread out. Floor-to-ceiling glazing keeps the valley in sight from almost every room.

The kitchen

A fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table which can host up to 10 people, two fridges and two freezers. Ideal for longer stays, for stocking up on fresh produce from Arusha, or for cooking for a group.

The deck

Dine at the long outdoor table, settle into the deck sofa, or simply sit and take in the horizon. Inside and outside seating means you can follow the sun or the shade throughout the day.
